Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in meal preparation and serving according to approved menus and dietary specifications.

  • Deliver meals to residents in a timely and courteous manner.

  • Ensure proper portion sizes and accommodate special diets, allergies, or texture modifications.

  • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of dining areas, kitchen, and equipment.

  • Wash dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment according to safety and sanitation standards.

  • Assist with inventory management, stocking supplies, and reporting shortages.

  • Follow all safety, infection control, and facility protocols.

  • Provide friendly, respectful interaction with residents during meals and snack service.

Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred but not required.

  • Previous experience in dietary services, food service, or healthcare preferred.

  • Knowledge of safe food handling, sanitation, and infection control practices.

  • Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.

  • Physical ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 25–50 lbs, and perform repetitive tasks.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Skills Required
