Job responsibilities include but not limited to: ·
- Assist in the preparation and serving of meals and snacks
- use portion control procedure
- assist in cleaning work areas, equipment and floors, dishes and utensils
- assist in distributing menus and checking trays for menu and diet preferences and accuracy
- ensure proper storage of foods and supplies
- adhere to Standard precautions and sanitary, safety and infection control policies and procedures.
- Wash dishes using proper procedures and following federal and state guidelines.
Requirements:
- Experience in healthcare is a plus.
- Food handler’s card required

Olney Rehabilitation & Care Center is a skilled nursing and rehabilitation facility in Olney, Texas, providing 24-hour nursing and long-term care alongside short-term inpatient rehabilitation. Its services include physical, occupational and speech therapy, wound and skin care, pain management, IV therapy, pulmonary and diabetic care, individualized care planning, and daily activities. Therapy is tailored to residents’ needs, and nursing and therapy teams coordinate to support functional recovery and independence.
