About the Role
As FMEA Moderator, you will be the central contact point for All BU-IC HW/ME development for both products and projects. You are responsible for the methodical and formal correctness of the FMEA. You will perform the FMEA, and you will support multi-disciplinary project teams in proactive way.
What You Will Do
- The FMEA-Moderator is responsible for the methodical and formal correctness of the FMEA.
- Independent evaluation of product/process maturity and early escalation of risks in the Q-Organization.
- Support for the multidisciplinary project team to proactively identify, evaluate and mitigate the technical risks of products and processes by taking corrective measures as necessary.
- Planning, preparation and moderation of the FMEA according to the Harman methodology and the applicable automotive standards.
- Coaching the FMEA team in method usage and tools, creation of evaluations and reports, support in assessment and presentation of results.
- Support for the Project Manager and the FMEA team to review and release the FMEA.
- Cooperation in System- and Design-FMEA and offer inputs to Process-FMEA.
- Accompanying quality assurance of internationally distributed projects.
- Participation in building an internationally active QA assurance.
- Monitoring of the project activities in terms of compliance with standards, directives and processes.
What You Need to Be Successful
- Minimum of bachelor’s degree in engineering (Electrical Engineering or Telecommunications Engineering or appropriate graduation)
- At least 4 years of experience
- Experience in process modeling (e.g. V-Cycle).
- Knowledge in Automotive Hardware development process.
- Knowledge of the FMEA method.
- Functional Safety Management FSM, Risk Management RM:
- FMEA moderation, S-FMEA, D-FMEA, P-FMEA, FMECA, FMEDA
- FTA generation, FTA moderation, failure rate calculation, SPFM, LFM, DC
- Experience with requirements tracking systems (e.g. DOORS), software modeling and design tools and project tracking systems (e.g. JIRA, ALM)
- Quality Management / Quality Coaching:
- Consulting in terms of Functional Safety and Quality (FuSi, FSM, FSE, TQM, APQP)
- Verification, Validation, DV Design Validation, PV Product Validation, Qualification
- Known norms / standards:
- ISO 26262-1 bis -12, (2011+2018) Automotive Standard for Functional Safety
- IEC 61508, IEC 60601, IEC62304 Basic Standard Functional Safety, Medical Affaires
- SN29500, IEC 62380, IEC 61709, Reliability Standard, Failure Rates for Components
- ISO 9001, ISO 16949, ISO 13485, General Quality Management Standard Industry
- Good knowledge of Excel/Word etc.
Bonus Points if You Have
- Known Branches:
Automotive Manufacturer (OEM) and Automotive Supplier (Tier-1 and Tier-2)
Semiconductor Manufacturer (OEM) and Semiconductor Supplier - Development on System, Hardware, Software, Mechatronics level
- Certified process expert (automotive Spice)
