Job Description:

We are seeking a versatile and motivated DevSecOps Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a subset of the following skills, with a willingness to learn and grow in other areas. This role involves collaborating with team members to develop and maintain high-quality software solutions, ensuring comprehensive testing, and providing support in ticket creation and documentation.

This position requires the employee to work onsite at a classified Government facility on Port San Antonio three days a week.

Key Responsibilities:

• Contribute to the development and maintenance of software applications

• Collaborate with team members to design, develop, and deploy high-quality software solutions

• Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback

• Troubleshoot and resolve software issues

• Contribute to continuous improvement of development and deployment processes

• Create and manage tickets in Jira and assist other team members in their ticket creation

• Document processes and projects in Confluence

Minimum Requirements:

• Must possess a minimum of a Secret level clearance

• Must have a Bachelor's Degree in a related field OR an additional 4+ years of experience in lieu of degree

• Minimum of 5 years of proficiency in ticket creation and management using Jira

• Ability to create and maintain documentation in Confluence

• Minimum of 5 years of understanding of DevOps practices and tools

• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes for containerization

• Experience with CI/CD pipelines

• Experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS)

Preferred Qualifications:

• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities

• Experience with agile development methodologies

• Familiarity with unit testing, CVEs, penetration testing and test automation

• Familiarity with Git, ArgoCD, OWASP, NodeJS, JWT, OAuth

Salary Range: 

$96,400.00 - $182,400.00
