Satellite and drone imagery access is on the rise, and traditional image processing methods are struggling to keep up. We’ve never had more data, and yet it’s never been harder to gain meaningful insights.

Our scalable AI platform enables custom model training on global features, providing real-time, on-demand geospatial insights with impressive speed and accuracy. The application turns months of manual work into mere minutes, and with much better results. We work with customers from various domains, from intelligence and defence, local and federal governments, insurance industry, to small and large enterprises, which requires us to have a lot of flexibility on how we deploy and secure our services.

We kicked off in 2020 and have secured $35 million in series A funding from a lineup of top US and European investors, among which Microsoft M12, Point72 Ventures, Maxar, In-Q-Tel, SAFRAN, and ISAI/Capgemini.

We're searching for a DevSecOps Engineer to join our Deployment team. You'll own the security posture of our infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines across radically different environments: AWS for our SaaS offering, multi-cloud deployments for enterprise customers and self-managed customer deployments.

What you'll do

  • Embed security into the full engineering lifecycle — from code commit through production deployment
  • Build and maintain automated security scanning integrated into our CI/CD pipelines
  • Own secrets management, container hardening, and secure baseline configuration across cloud and on-prem environments
  • Support compliance and audit readiness for government and regulated customers
  • Design secure network architectures for cloud, hybrid, or on-prem deployments
  • Respond to security incidents and vulnerability disclosures — triage, remediate, and document
  • Collaborate with product teams to catch security issues early in design

Your profile

  • Hands-on experience with container and Kubernetes security in production environments
  • Background working in or alongside regulated or government environments
  • Experience integrating security tooling (SAST, DAST, secret scanning, image scanning) into CI/CD pipelines
  • Strong Linux system administration with the ability to harden hosts and debug security incidents
  • Solid understanding of networking, PKI, and secrets management
  • Scripting proficiency in Python and Bash
  • Clear communicator who can document findings for both technical and compliance audiences
  •
    Ideally:
  • Experience with deployments in regulated environments
  • Completed or participated in compliance, SOC, or ISO certification
  • Familiarity with hardening OS, image builds, and Kubernetes distributions
  • Knowledge of GPU workload security for ML inference pipelines
  • Experience with OpenShift

Why join us

  • Unique security challenges: Few teams operate across SaaS, enterprise cloud, on-prem deployments — you'll solve problems most engineers never encounter
  • Strategic impact: security posture is a direct revenue driver for our regulated customer expansion, enabling new customer segments and contract opportunities
  • Growth trajectory: Join ahead of our Series B as we scale the team and expand into new markets
  • Strong technical culture: Work alongside platform, ML, and GIS engineers on novel infrastructure challenges
  • Healthy work-life balance with flexible working arrangements
  • Competitive compensation with personalized benefits including learning opportunities, mental well-being programs, and healthcare
  • Permanent employment: no B2B option possible

Tech Stack

  • Linux, Docker, Kubernetes (EKS, AKS, GKE)
  • AWS, Azure, GCP
  • Terraform, Helm, ArgoCD
  • Azure DevOps, Prometheus, Grafana
  • Elasticsearch, Kibana
  • Python, Bash

In accordance with Austrian legislation, we are disclosing the minimum remuneration fixed for this position is : 60.000,--€ gross per year. The effective salary depends on qualification and experience and may be significantly higher!
