DevSecOps Engineer (Contract)

Overview of Role

In this role you will work within a team of Qarik security engineers to transform and modernize our clients’ security postures through hands-on work, consulting and continued improvements while supporting the client. You will work closely with other security engineering teams and professionals to provide innovative and collaborative solutions. This role will require a self starter who can effectively manage their own time, and is open to infrequent travel to the client site.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement cloud security controls in an enterprise environment
• Configuration and operation of security tools, such as Veracode and Sonarqube
• Security automation
• Infrastructure as Code using Terraform
• Build CI/CD, and incorporate SAST, DAST, and SCA
• Source and artifact management
• Scripting and dashboard creation

Desirable Experience

• 8+ years of experience in security 
• Strong AppSec experience needed
• Google Cloud Platform a plus
• Experience configuring and managing cloud armor
• Cloud-native applications
• Financial industry or Travel industry a plus
