DevOps Software Engineer

Job Summary:

As a DevOps Engineer you will play a crucial role in optimizing and automating our development and deployment processes. The ideal candidate is passionate about technology, has a strong background in AWS, Terraform, GitHub Actions, Kubernetes, and Ansible, and thrives in a collaborative and fast-paced environment

What You Will Do:

·       Collaborate with development and operations teams to design and implement CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions for efficient and reliable application deployment.

·       Manage infrastructure as code using Terraform to automate provisioning and configuration of AWS resources.

·       Work with Kubernetes to orchestrate containerized applications, ensuring scalability, security, and reliability.

·       Implement and manage automation tools and frameworks to optimize operational processes.

·       Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure issues in development, test, and production environments.

·       Utilize Ansible for configuration management and automation of repetitive tasks.

·       Stay current with industry trends and best practices to continuously improve our DevOps processes.

·       Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

·       Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer or similar role.

·       Strong expertise in AWS services and solutions.

·       Proficiency in infrastructure as code using Terraform.

·       Hands-on experience with Kubernetes for container orchestration.

·       Solid understanding of CI/CD principles and experience implementing pipelines with GitHub Actions.

·       Familiarity with configuration management tools, with a focus on Ansible.

·       Excellent scripting skills (e.g., Bash, Python) for automation tasks.

·       Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.

·       Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.

 Preferred Qualifications:

·       Relevant certifications such as AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Kubernetes Certified Administrator, or similar.

·       Experience with other cloud platforms (Azure, GCP).

·       Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack).

·       Knowledge of best security practices in a cloud environment.
