Appnovation is seek a highly skilled Senior DevOps Engineer to join our team and play a critical role in designing, implementing, and maintaining robust DevOps solutions for global clients. As a Senior DevOps Engineer, you will leverage your expertise to build efficient CI/CD pipelines, optimize cloud infrastructure, and lead initiatives for continuous improvement. Your strong leadership and advanced technical skills will be pivotal in driving success across various cloud environments and tools.
Key Responsibilities:
- Architect, implement and manage CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitLab, Bitbucket, or CircleCI.
- Design and maintain scalable, secure cloud infrastructures on AWS while being open to working with others Cloud Providers such us GCP and Azure as required by the project.
- Lead efforts to optimize environments, ensuring effective patch management, monitoring, and system performance.
- Develop and implement advanced monitoring and metrics solutions to ensure system reliability and visibility.
- Troubleshoot complex infrastructure and pipeline issues, providing clear solutions and documentation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive system improvements and ensure compliance with best practices.
- Mentor junior team members, fostering a culture of learning and collaboration.
- Stay current with industry trends, recommending and implementing modern DevOps tools and practices.
Qualifications:
- 6+ years of experience in DevOps, with strong expertise in AWS cloud platform.
- AWS certifications (Architect, Developer, or DevOps Professional) are strongly preferred.
- Proficiency in CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab, Bitbucket, or CircleCI, with experience in at least one.
- Solid understanding of environment management, including patch management and system monitoring.
- Extensive experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, or Pulumi.
- Strong scripting abilities in Bash, Python, or similar languages.
- Proven ability to lead projects, make architectural decisions and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
- Experience with advanced troubleshooting techniques and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Knowledge of Kubernetes, Docker, and container orchestration tools.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
