At FINARTIX, we are seeking a highly motivated and experienced DevOps & Platform Lead to drive the design, evolution, and scalability of our platform infrastructure across both cloud and on-prem environments. In this role, you will take end-to-end ownership of the platform lifecycle, shaping the DevOps strategy and enabling engineering teams to deliver reliable, secure, and high-performing systems at scale.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the DevOps and Platform team, setting direction, aligning priorities, and ensuring high-quality delivery
- Design, implement, and operate scalable infrastructure across cloud and on-prem environments
- Build, maintain, and optimize Kubernetes platforms and containerized workloads
- Develop and evolve CI/CD pipelines and GitOps workflows to enable efficient software delivery
- Manage core platform capabilities such as networking, secrets management, and service exposure
- Implement Infrastructure as Code and automation practices across environments
- Ensure system reliability, scalability, and security through proactive engineering practices
- Monitor systems, troubleshoot issues, and perform root cause analysis in production environments
- Support data services and ensure their availability, performance, and backup strategies
- Collaborate with teams to improve architecture, processes, and engineering standards
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of experience in DevOps / Cloud Engineering roles
- Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure (AKS, ACR, Key Vault, Application Gateway)
- Experience with AWS, Google Cloud, or other cloud providers is a plus
- Strong experience with Kubernetes (AKS & on-prem), Helm charts, and ArgoCD (GitOps)
- Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using GitLab CI/CD, Azure DevOps, or similar
- Experience administering self-hosted GitLab environments (runners, pipelines, access control)
- Solid experience with Terraform and Ansible for Infrastructure as Code and automation
- Experience managing PostgreSQL databases (on-prem and Azure Flexible Server)
- Hands-on experience with observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, and similar solutions
- Strong knowledge of Linux systems and networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, VPN, routing, subnetting)
- Experience managing on-cloud and on-prem Linux servers
- Proficiency in scripting (Bash, Python, or similar)
- Strong problem-solving skills, ownership mindset, and collaboration abilities
