You Role:
As a DevOps Manager, you will play a vital role in software development lifecycle and contribute your strong DevOps automation skills and deep knowledge of cloud-native best practices in implementing container based microservices hosted on Kubernetes platform.

Development of CI/CD pipelines for build and deployment of java based applications

The role includes creation of Terraform and YAML scripted automation pipelines for infrastructure automation, provisioning and managing multiple environments on cloud (Azure or AWS), configuration management, troubleshooting, monitoring, alerting.

Lead and mentor a team of DevOps engineers.

You will lead by examples and contribute to implementation of the application lifecycle — requirements, architecture design, developments and build, integration and release configuration, system testing, production operations, application optimization, and best practices adoption.

Collaborate with development, QA, and operations teams to improve workflows.

Drive best practices in DevOps, CI/CD, and infrastructure automation.
Here’s What You Need:
-
Minimum 6 years related experience in Technology architecture and AWS Cloud Administration.

Minimum 5 years in building DevOps automation and cloud-native architecture platforms.

Experience in a lead / managerial role
-
Hands on experience with:
-
Orchestration tools such as Azure DevOps / Jenkins (Azure DevOps preferred)
-
Azure DevOps pipelines configuration with Yaml
-
Kubernetes based platform. Openshift preferred
-
Experience using Terraform
-
Experience with docker desktop
-
Container platforms – docker, kubernetes,
-
Deploying and publishing microservices APIs on kubernetes through Helm charts
-
Implementing and configuring kubernetes ingress controller
-
Ingress/egress traffic routing on kubernetes cluster and service-services communication
-
Cloud PaaS resources in an automated, repeatable fashion through a combination of Deployment Orchestration, Git Repo’s, Container registries, Key stores, Databases, Storage

Setting up code scanning and testing tools Sonarqube, Gatling, Aquasec and incorporating automated testing in pipelines

Scripting languages PowerShell, Shell, Python

Any Centralized Logging and Monitoring – EFK, Splunk, Azure Log Analytics, Azure Application Insights

Multi-environments management in a full agile delivery model (mix of on-premise and cloud platforms)

Understands cloud native architectures, patterns, application deployments and operations

Must be eligible for Secret Clearance Status

Bachelor’s degree or completion of a college program in a related discipline

English is required for this position as this role will regularly interact with English-speaking stakeholders across Canada. Due to the significant high volume of interactions with these English-speaking stakeholders, which is inherent to this position, it is not possible to reorganize the company's activities to avoid this requirement.

Compensation at Accenture varies depending on a wide array of factors, which may include but are not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience. As required by local law, Accenture provides a reasonable range of compensation, based on full-time employment, for roles that may be hired in British Columbia as set forth below.
