Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled DevOps Lead to manage our DevOps team and lead our efforts in automating and streamlining our operations and processes. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in DevOps practices, team management, and hands-on experience with various DevOps tools and technologies. The DevOps Lead will be responsible for creating roadmaps, managing the DevOps team, allocating work, and ensuring the successful delivery of projects.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the DevOps team, including hiring, training, and performance management.
- Develop and implement DevOps strategies, processes, and best practices.
- Create and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated testing and deployment.
- Design, implement, and manage infrastructure as code using tools such as Terraform, or CloudFormation.
- Work closely with development, operations, and QA teams to ensure smooth project delivery.
- Monitor and maintain the health, performance, and security of our cloud infrastructure.
- Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure issues in production and non-production environments.
- Develop and maintain documentation related to infrastructure and processes.
- Stay current with industry trends, technologies, and best practices.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field with 10+ years of experience in the industry.
- 7+ years of experience in DevOps or related fields.
- 2+ years of experience in a leadership or management role.
- Strong knowledge of DevOps practices, principles, and methodologies.
- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, or Azure.
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Shell, or PowerShell.
- Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins.
- Experience with containerization and orchestration tools such as Docker, Kubernetes, or ECS.
- Experience with infrastructure as code tools such as Terraform, or CloudFormation.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
