Job Description:
As an Infrastructure Engineer in this role, you will be responsible for architecting and maintaining scalable, resilient systems that support high-volume data alerting within a dynamic, fast-paced environment. You will leverage your expertise in Kubernetes to orchestrate containerized workloads, ensuring seamless deployment and management of applications.
Success in this position will be driven by your hands-on experience with messaging platforms like RabbitMQ and Kafka, which are essential for handling large-scale data streams and ensuring reliable communication between services. You will benefit from familiarity with monitoring and observability tools such as Grafana, as well as logging and alerting frameworks that enable proactive incident response. Exposure to DevOps methodologies will be crucial, as you will collaborate closely with development teams to streamline CI/CD pipelines and enhance operational efficiency. Your ability to troubleshoot complex issues and implement best practices in cloud security and automation will set you apart in this challenging and rewarding role.
Here's what you'll do:
- Optimize cloud infrastructure on AWS, utilize services such as EKS, EC2, and S3, and implement infrastructure as code with Terraform to automate provisioning and configuration.
- Design robust routing and DNS solutions to guarantee high availability and performance across distributed systems.
Here is what you need:
- 8+ years of experience in DevOps or a similar field.
- Experience in several of the following areas:
- Kubernetes
- RabbitMQ
- Kafka
- EKS
- AWS
- Amazon Elastic Compute Cloud (Amazon EC2)
- S3
- Terraform
- Routing
- DNS
- Grafana
- Logging
- Alerting
Bonus points if you have:
- Experience with scalable applications on Kubernetes.
- Experience handling high volume data alerts.
- Experience working on large projects in complex, fast-paced environments.
Security clearance:
- Active TS/SCI with Poly security clearance is required.

The base pay range for this position in these locations is shown below.
