ABOUT CLIENT

Our client is a large enterprise organization in the US healthcare space. The company operates in a highly regulated environment and relies on robust application delivery processes, modern CI/CD tooling, and strong governance practices to support large-scale engineering operations.

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are looking for a technically grounded Engineering Manager with a strong background in CI/CD and SDLC tooling to lead a distributed DevOps Tooling team.

This is a hands-on leadership role, where you will be responsible for team coordination, delivery management, and stakeholder communication, while staying close to the technical work — reviewing pipeline architecture, guiding engineers, and unblocking the team.

The team focuses on application-side DevOps tooling, including CI/CD pipelines, build and deployment processes, and engineering governance. This role does not cover infrastructure or networking.

REQUIREMENTS

    • 7+ years of overall experience, including: 5+ years in DevOps and 2+ years in a lead or management role
    • Strong hands-on experience with: Jenkins, GitHub Enterprise / GitHub Actions, Nexus, Sonar
    • Solid experience in: CI/CD pipeline design, implementation, and maintenance, SDLC tooling and application delivery processes
    • Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform or similar)
    • Experience working with AWS and/or Azure
    • Scripting skills for automation
    • Experience in enterprise-scale environments with established processes
    • Understanding of change management and compliance practices

RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Lead and coordinate a distributed DevOps Tooling team on a daily basis
    • Own backlog management, priority setting, and capacity planning
    • Drive sprint planning, execution, and delivery consistency
    • Act as the main escalation point for technical and delivery issues
    • Review CI/CD pipeline architecture and guide technical decisions
    • Support and unblock engineers, ensuring smooth delivery flow
    • Mentor team members and support their professional development
    • Communicate effectively with stakeholders, including: Status updates; Risks and issus; Delivery metrics
    • Collaborate with client-side program managers and product owners
    • Ensure alignment with enterprise processes, including compliance and governance
    • NICE TO HAVE
Experience working in regulated environments (e.g., healthcare)
Experience with enterprise governance and toolchain standardization

WHAT YOU WILL GET WITH ELEKS

    • Close cooperation with a customer
