Summary:
We're seeking a highly skilled DevOps Engineer to join our DevOps Engineering team. In this hands-on role, you will manage the infrastructure and delivery systems crucial for our quants, traders, and developers. You'll design, automate, and optimize deployment workflows in a hybrid AWS and on-prem environment, directly impacting the firm's efficiency and security.
Responsibilities:
- Architect, implement, and manage scalable infrastructure across AWS and on-prem environments.
- Design and maintain reusable Terraform modules for Infrastructure-as-Code.
- Automate configuration management and system provisioning using Packer and Ansible.
- Build and own CI/CD pipelines for fast and reliable software delivery.
- Develop and maintain automation tooling and scripts, preferably in Python or Go.
- Deploy, manage, and scale containerized workloads with Kubernetes and Helm.
- Run and improve our GitOps delivery model using tools like ArgoCD and Atlantis.
- Manage and optimize OpenSearch clusters.
- Administer and optimize Linux-based systems for security, performance, and reliability.
- Collaborate with developers to enhance tooling and streamline deployments.
- Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure and deployment issues across the stack.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in architecting and managing scalable infrastructure on AWS.
- Strong networking fundamentals and experience diagnosing complex network issues.
- Solid experience with monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, and ELK/OpenSearch.
- Proficiency in scripting and automation using Python or Go.
- Clear communication skills to explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Adaptability to new technologies and unexpected challenges.
- Strong analytical skills for breaking down complex problems logically.

Skills Required
- 5+ years of experience designing and operating AWS infrastructure in production
- Strong understanding of networking
- Strong hands-on experience with Linux systems administration
- Strong hands-on experience operating Kubernetes clusters
- Experience with monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, and Opensearch
- Proven experience with Terraform, Terragrunt, Helm, ArgoCD, CI/CD pipelines, and Git-based workflows
- Experience developing automation tools and scripts using Python and/or Golang
- Experience automating system provisioning and image builds using Packer and Ansible
- Clear and effective communication skills
