Role OverviewAs a DevOps Engineer at Muvr, you’ll be responsible for designing, automating, and maintaining the cloud infrastructure that powers our logistics marketplace. You’ll enable our engineering teams to scale from a monolithic system to Go-based microservices, ensuring uptime, reliability, and cost-efficiency across all environments.
You’ll also champion DevOps culture by integrating continuous delivery, observability, and AI-powered automation throughout our build, deployment, and monitoring pipelines.
Key Responsibilities- Architect and manage AWS infrastructure (ECS Fargate, Lambda, API Gateway, VPC, Route 53, CloudFront, S3).
- Automate infrastructure provisioning using Terraform, AWS CDK, or similar Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) tools.
- Decompose the monolith into containerized GoLang microservices, designed for independent scaling and fault isolation.
- Build and manage CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions for automated testing, building, and deployment.
- Implement advanced deployment strategies (blue-green, canary) to ensure zero downtime and safe rollbacks.
- Manage core data and messaging layers: Kafka event streams, Redis caches, and MySQL/PostgreSQL databases.
- Optimize system performance and cost across staging and production environments.
- Own observability through dashboards, alerts, and log aggregation (Prometheus, Grafana, CloudWatch, Sentry).
- Implement secrets management and IAM best practices to ensure compliance and security.
- Lead root cause analysis for incidents, implement automated recovery, and reduce mean time to resolution (MTTR).
- Collaborate cross-functionally with backend, data, and product teams to embed DevOps best practices.
- Leverage AI-powered tooling (GPT automation, anomaly detection, code generation) to accelerate DevOps workflows.

- Version Control: GitHub
- 4+ years of DevOps or Cloud Engineering experience (AWS preferred).
- Strong knowledge of containerization (Docker, ECS, or Kubernetes).
- Experience implementing IaC pipelines with Terraform or CDK.
- Familiarity with Go-based microservice architectures.
- Expertise in CI/CD automation, monitoring, and incident response.
- Solid understanding of networking (DNS, VPCs, load balancers, security groups).
- Hands-on experience with cost optimization and cloud performance tuning.
- Strong debugging and scripting skills (Python, Go, or Bash).
- Passion for automation, reliability, and continuous improvement.
- Experience with event-driven systems (Kafka, RabbitMQ).
- Exposure to AI/ML automation tools or GPT-based DevOps workflows.
- Background in scaling multi-service logistics or marketplace platforms.
- Contributions to open-source or internal developer tooling.
