(AWS Infrastructure with Data Workload Support)
DualBird is building a next-generation data acceleration platform that brings hardware-level performance to cloud infrastructure with software-level simplicity. We’re looking for a DevOps Engineer to own our AWS infrastructure and support reliable, scalable environments across development, testing, and production.
This role is a classic DevOps position with exposure to data-intensive workloads and Spark-based systems.
The roleYou’ll design, automate, and maintain AWS infrastructure that supports both application services and data-processing environments, including Spark deployments used for system validation and testing.
You’ll work closely with software, data, and automation teams to ensure infrastructure is reliable, secure, and easy to operate.
What you’ll do
Design, build, and maintain AWS infrastructure using Terraform or CloudFormation.
Build and manage CI/CD Pipelines for infrastructure, testing, and deployment.
Implement monitoring, logging and alerting for infrastructure and long-running compute jobs.
Support Spark-based workloads running on EMR, Kubernetes (EKS), and other AWS environments.
Enforce AWS best practices for IAM, networking, and security.
Automate operational tasks using Python, Bash, or similar tools.
Track and optimize AWS usage for reliability and cost efficiency.
Collaborate with software, data platforms, and automation engineers to improve cloud workflows.
What you bring
4–7+ years of experience as a DevOps, Cloud, or Infrastructure Engineer in AWS environments.
Strong hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code.
Experience building and operating CI/CD pipelines.
Familiarity with supporting data-processing or Spark workloads is a strong plus.
Experience with monitoring and observability tools.
Scripting or programming experience (Python, Bash).
Strong ownership mindset and collaborative approach.
Work on cutting-edge data acceleration technology used by some of the most demanding workloads in the cloud.
