Role Overview
We are looking for a DevOps Engineer with 2–3 years of hands-on experience in cloud infrastructure, automation, and CI/CD workflows. In this role, you will help design, implement, and manage scalable AWS-based environments, contribute to Infrastructure-as-Code practices, and support continuous delivery initiatives. You will work collaboratively with engineering, QA, and security teams to maintain a high-performance, secure, and resilient infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities
- Cloud Infrastructure Management: Support the deployment and maintenance of AWS-based environments with a focus on scalability, cost-efficiency, and uptime.
- Networking & Security Support: Assist in designing secure cloud networking solutions (VPCs, subnets, security groups) and apply best practices for access control.
- Automation & Scripting: Write and maintain Python and Bash scripts for automation tasks, system integrations, and internal tooling.
- CI/CD Pipelines: Contribute to the development and improvement of CI/CD workflows using tools like GitHub Actions, Bitbucket Pipelines, or AWS CodePipeline.
- Monitoring & Incident Response: Implement and monitor system metrics using tools like CloudWatch, Prometheus, or Grafana, and respond to performance or availability issues.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with software engineers, QA, and security teams to support application releases and optimize DevOps practices.
- Documentation: Maintain clear and up-to-date documentation for infrastructure, processes, and deployments.
Qualifications
- At least 2 years of experience working in a DevOps or infrastructure engineering role.
- Solid experience with AWS services, including EC2, S3, IAM, Lambda, and VPC.
- Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) tools, especially Terraform.
- Familiarity with containerization technologies, including Docker and Kubernetes.
- Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and experience using Git-based workflows.
- Exposure to monitoring and logging tools like AWS CloudWatch, Prometheus, or Grafana.
- Basic knowledge of networking principles, security groups, and IAM roles.
- Familiarity with compliance frameworks (e.g., SOC 2, ISO 27001) is a plus.
