As a DevOps Engineer in the Cloud Telephony Team,  you will be responsible for deploying product updates, identifying production issues and implementing integrations that meet our customers' needs and play a key role in assuring and improving our product quality, ensuring that we are giving a world class experience to our users.

The impact you will create:  

• Building and setting up new development tools and infrastructure
• Understanding the needs of stakeholders and conveying this to developers
• Working on ways to automate and improve development and release processes
• Testing and examining code written by others and analyzing results
• Ensuring that systems are safe and secure against cybersecurity threats
• Identifying technical problems and developing software updates and ‘fixes’
• Working with software developers and software engineers to ensure that development follows established processes and works as intended
• Planning out projects and being involved in project management decisions

What you bring in: 

• 4+ years of hands-on experience in DevOps with databases including, Mongo or Elasticsearch
• 4+ years of experience of Backend programming languages specifically Node.js, and writing code and scripts.
• Sense of ownership and pride in your performance and its impact on company’s success
• Critical thinker and problem-solving skills
• Ability to install and configure software, gather test-stage data, and perform debugging.
• Ability to ensure smooth software deployment by writing script updates and running diagnostics.
• Proficiency in documenting processes and monitoring performance metrics.
• Good time-management skills
• Interpersonal and communication skills

It would be great if you also have:

• Bachelor's degree in software engineering, computer science, information technology, information systems, or similar.
• Experience in VoIP applications.
