Job Summary

Position Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Software Engineer to join our team, focusing on Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CICD) and automation. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with one or more CICD tools such as Octopus, Concourse, GitHub Actions, or Spinnaker. Additional experience with programming languages like GoLang, Rust, or Python is highly desirable.

Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain CICD pipelines to ensure efficient and reliable software delivery.
• Automate deployment processes using tools such as Octopus, Concourse, GitHub Actions, or Spinnaker.
• Collaborate with development, operations, and QA teams to streamline the build, test, and deployment processes.
• Implement best practices for version control, branching strategies, and code reviews.
• Monitor and troubleshoot CICD pipelines to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
• Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance to the team.
• Stay up to date with the latest industry trends and technologies in CICD and automation.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years experience as a Senior Software Engineer or similar role, with a focus on CICD and automation.
• Proficiency in one or more CICD tools: Octopus, Concourse, GitHub Actions, or Spinnaker.
• Strong programming skills in GoLang, Rust, or Python.
• Strong proficiency with version control systems such as Git.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with containerization and orchestration tools such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• Knowledge of infrastructure as code (IaC) tools like Terraform or Ansible.
• Experience with monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK stack.

Compensation

Primary Location Pay Range: $132,826.27 - $199,239.41

Comcast intends to offer the selected candidate base pay dependent on job-related, non-discriminatory factors such as experience.
