Location: Pune, India
Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled DevOps Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining the infrastructure that supports our application development teams and cloud services. You will work closely with developers to ensure that code is deployed in a reliable and efficient manner, and will be responsible for monitoring and troubleshooting the system to ensure that it is running smoothly.
Responsibilities:

  • Build and maintain the infrastructure for our application development and deployment pipelines.
  • Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins and Bitbucket.
  • Develop and maintain automation scripts using Python and Terraform to improve the efficiency of the system.
  • Manage and maintain Kubernetes clusters and workloads.
  • Troubleshoot microservices to identify and resolve issues related to log analysis, performance monitoring, and other related areas.
  • Implement and maintain scalable and reliable solutions for high availability and disaster recovery.
  • Collaborate with development teams to ensure adherence to security best practices and help implement security controls.
  • Work with cloud services teams to ensure that infrastructure is optimized and cost-effective.
  • Collaborate with other engineers and stakeholders to identify and implement improvements to the system.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Strong experience with Kubernetes, including deploying and managing clusters.
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, Bitbucket or other similar tools.
  • Strong knowledge of Python and its related libraries.
  • Knowledge of Terraform or other infrastructure as code tools.
  • Experience with monitoring and troubleshooting microservices using tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, or similar.
  • Experience with Kafka, MongoDB, and Postgres.
  • Strong understanding of cloud computing services such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Good communication and collaboration skills.
