We are currently seeking a DevOps Engineer to support our growing needs of securing and managing AWS cloud. You will be expected to take ownership of important Cloud services and independently take AWS cloud to update, design, develop and implement. This role will interact with different AWS services and will mostly focus on Identity And Access Management (IAM) systems.

Primary Job Functions

• Design, develop, implement, and integrate Identity And Access Management (IAM) systems and solutions.
• Identify, analyze, and resolve system design weaknesses. Troubleshoot and manage the resolution of issues related with IAM. Determine the appropriate response to identified more complex problems, issues and/or defects by assessing impact and prioritization.
• Ensure the maintenance and monitor IAM systems.
• Utilize AWS Well-Architected Framework to design multi-accounts strategy best practices and recommendations.
• Isolate and manage business applications and data across the framework pillars including operational excellence, security, and cost optimization.
• Design, develop and implement overall AWS best practices based on the project size and expected scale of adopting AWS.
• Automation for live deployment of IAM turnkey solutions for AWS Organization and multiple OUs.
• Produce technical documentation such as IAM detailed design, configuration guides etc.
• Design and implement AWS cloud native AWS Data Lake solution.
• Design, develop and implement AWS Cost cutting tools and configuration for Organization.
• Work with Security team to understand the security policies and implement AWS best practices based on the guidelines.
• Collaborate with Architecture team(s) to advise on any needed enabling work and make decisions regarding sequencing to ensure optimal delivery of value for business.
• Analyze and able to utilize different AWS services as required by organization.

Technology:

• Must have: Linux/Windows/LDAP/AD authentication, SSO for AWS using IAM center, SAML.
• Experience in one of IAM solutions such as: CyberArk, RSA, PKI
• Automation: Terraform/CloudFormation, Ansible, Python

Additional skills (Plus points):

• Bash/PowerShell
• Jenkins and Jenkins-DSL programming (groovy)
• Able to understand and create YAML and JSON files.
• AWS Certified Security certification

Skills:

• Experience with AWS Services Management and able to maintain the keys to AWS.
• Hands-on technical experience in systems integration of IAM solutions.
• Experience with information security concepts such as authentication and access control
• Experience with Linux/Unix, Windows, and scripting

Qualification (Education & Work Experience):

• Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Information technology. Preferred Masters.
• More than 3 years working on production environment on AWS

Work Environment & Physical Demands

• Remote and occasional travel to Chicago office (may be once a month)

The national pay range for this role is $105,000 - $148,000 / year and is considered a Level P3 – Career Professional Individual Contributor role. This pay range may be slightly lower or higher based on the geographic location of the hired employee. The actual pay offered may vary based upon, but not limited to: education, skills, experience, proficiency, performance, and location. In addition to base salary, the total compensation package may also include participation in an annual discretionary bonus.
