Employment Type: Freelance/Independent Contractor (40 hours/week)
Project duration: 2-4 months
Project Overview:We are kicking off a short-term, high-impact project focused on integrating a partner application with our platform. Your primary goal is to "land" the incoming application onto our cloud infrastructure. You will be responsible for provisioning the environment, setting up efficient CI/CD pipelines for rapid deployment, and ensuring the infrastructure is stable and secure enough to handle the active data migration phase.
Key Responsibilities:Deploy and configure environments (Dev/Stage/Prod) for the migrating application within our cloud infrastructure.
Set up and optimize CI/CD pipelines for automated, zero-downtime deployments.
Migrate and configure database instances, ensuring high availability and backups during the transition.
Monitor infrastructure during peak migration hours, proactively handling performance bottlenecks or failures.
5+ years of experience as a DevOps / Infrastructure Engineer.
Strong hands-on experience with Docker and orchestration tools (Kubernetes or Docker Swarm).
Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code (IaC), preferably Terraform and/or Ansible.
Solid experience with major cloud providers (AWS / GCP / Azure or major local clouds).
Experience configuring CI/CD tools (GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, or Jenkins).
Practical knowledge of monitoring and logging stacks (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK/PLG stack).
Previous experience with "cloud-to-cloud" or "on-premise to cloud" infrastructure migrations.
Competitive Full-Time Project Rate: Competitive compensation based on a 40-hour work week, paid monthly.
100% Remote & Autonomy: This is a full-time commitment (40 hours/week), but you have the freedom to build your own daily schedule. Our core team operates in the CEST timezone (GMT+02:00), so you'll just need to ensure a few hours of overlap with us for daily syncs and collaboration.
Zero Bureaucracy: Fast onboarding, direct communication with the team, and no unnecessary corporate meetings. You are here to build.
