THE OPPORTUNITY
Wavicle Data Solutions seeks a Data Engineer with DevOps experience to assist with client projects.
What You Will Get To Do
- Collaborate with development teams to integrate new tools and technologies, enhancing the overall efficiency of workflows.
- Write and maintain scripts and automation tools in Python for infrastructure management and application deployment.
- Monitor and troubleshoot system performance, identifying bottlenecks and implementing solutions.
- Manage cloud infrastructure (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and utilize configuration management tools (e.g., Ansible, Terraform).
- Ensure security and compliance standards are met in all deployments.
- Create and maintain documentation for system architecture, processes, and procedures.
What You Bring To the Team
- Bachelor or Master's degree in Computer Science, or related field is required.
- Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer or in a similar role.
- Strong proficiency in Python, with experience in scripting and automation and OOP Principles.
- Familiarity with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and infrastructure as code.
- Understanding of networking, system administration, and security best practices.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
