Open Systems Technologies is looking for DevOps/Automation engineers to support our DIA Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS) program initiative. You will be part of a high-performance team scaling out applications using automation/scripting, containers, and Kubernetes.

The best-fit candidate will have experience with the RedHat product line such as RHEL (Linux), Ansible, and OpenShift.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement, and maintain automation scripts to streamline deployment processes and improve system efficiency
  • Utilize containers and Kubernetes to orchestrate and manage applications in a cloud environment
  • Collaborate with development and operations teams to ensure smooth integration of automation tools
  • Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues related to automation and infrastructure
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in DevOps and automation technologies
  • Must have some experience supporting RedHat OpenShift Container Platform (OCP)

- Requirements:

  • CLEARANCE: TS/SCI w CI Poly
  • Requires Sec+ (or 8570 IAT Lvl 2 equivalent) 
  • Must be able to work onsite (5 days per week) in Reston, VA
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
  • Proven experience working with automation tools such as Ansible and OpenShift
  • Strong scripting skills in languages like Python, Bash, or PowerShell
  • Familiarity with containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes
  • RedHat OpenShift Container Platform (OCP) experience a must
  • Experience with RedHat products, particularly RHEL (Linux) - Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
