Device Management Engineer – Cloud Services
We are seeking a Device Management Engineer to join the Cloud Services team, focused on deploying, troubleshooting, and maintaining the health of Windows 10/11 devices across our retail environments. This is a hands-on, OS-level operational role covering both new solution rollouts and break-fix resolution for devices that are not communicating, patching, deploying, or functioning properly.
- Strong, hands-on experience troubleshooting Windows 10 and Windows 11 patch and application deployments through Microsoft Intune
- Capable of learning and supporting Adaptiva Patch
- Highly skilled in diagnosing application and deployment failures using Windows Event Logs and Intune management logs
- Solid PowerShell scripting expertise for troubleshooting, automation, and remediation
- Experience implementing Intune policies for device configuration and security hardening
- Experience working with Intune provisioning, profiles, and application management
- Strong knowledge of Windows OS deployment, patching, and update troubleshooting/resolution techniques
- Comfortable working in a mission-critical environment where device downtime directly impacts restaurant operations
- This role requires working a shifted schedule to provide US overnight and US early-morning business-startup coverage
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly explain technical issues to a variety of audiences
- Strong sense of ownership, urgency, and drive; resourceful and able to move forward independently in the face of ambiguity
- Demonstrable teamwork skills and ability to collaborate across support tiers
Nice to have:
- Microsoft certification(s) related to Endpoint Management, Windows, or Microsoft 365
- Prior experience supporting retail device fleets
