How you will make an impact as a Device Coordinator:
- Manages large quantity of test devices (phones, tablets, watches, pumps, etc.) and support provisions (CGM, infusion sets, extension sets, etc.) using an asset tracking system
- Device enrollment, configuration, and OS/software version management of test devices
- Data hygiene responsibilities including wiping and resetting devices between test cycles
- Proactively pursues resolution of observations to maintain fleet of test assets
- Provides training, supervision, and mentorship of other team members (i.e., other test technicians) in the use of test equipment and devices
- Maintains fixtures and lab equipment; ensures communication of issues with the Lead Test Technician or Test Manager(s), as required
- Supports recurring maintenance and audit activities as required
- Supports with maintaining appropriate lab cleaning and maintenance supplies
- Ensures safe test case execution and lab safety procedures are followed by all team members
- Generation of anomaly reports during equipment configuration process
- Authority to remove devices from service that fail to meet configuration standards
- Coordination with IT or engineering for network or connectivity-related issues
- Track and order supplies, as well as make stock room requests
- Knowledge of the quality system (SOPs, calibration program, etc.) & lab safety requirements
- Understands product and patient use case, and can impart this knowledge to employees
- Understands proper use of measurement equipment / fixtures and how they can influence results
- Basic computer skills and training in device programming utilized for testing
- Well organized; proactively oversees device management and storage
