What You'll do:
Duties and Responsibilities
· In partnership with Program Management, lead a remote development team
· Instill a culture of proactive accountable motivated self-starters
· Ensure contract and program objectives are met
· Has the competency and confidence to provide technical direction
· Organize, manage, and direct work supporting development
· Lead and support problem identification, solutioning, and delivery
· Define, enforce, and hold development standards – Lead discovery, refinement, planning, and daily deliverables
· Establish and ensure quality deliverables – Code Reviews and Design Consistency
· Competency and experience to lead Automation efforts, CI/CD build out, and able to create a modern approach for value delivery
· Train, teach, and mentor team members
· Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve issues related to the system and individual applications
· Understand, monitor, and resolved system performance issues to ensure standards are met
· Perform testing and validation in support of quality deliverables
· Perform installs, upgrades, and modernization efforts to the enterprise systems
· Create behaviors that allow for successful uneventful deployments
· Ability to balance administrative overhead with continuous delivery of value
Skills and Experience:
· Able to obtain a Public Trust Clearance
· Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field
· Significant experience with Java, JavaScript, SQL
· Familiar with Nodejs, React, Typescript, OracleDb, JSP, Tomcat
· Exposure to C#, .NET, ExtJs, Esri ArcGIS, Python
· Experience with automated software testing (unit, integration, system, etc.)
· Experience with DevOps practices, including implementing CI/CD pipelines using AWS and GitHub
· Experience with Jira and other Atlassian Tools
· Familiarity with database administration/management (PostgreSQL, Oracle, etc.)
· 6-10 years of experience with a minimum of 2 years as a technical lead
· Strong skills along with a willingness to learn how Agile fits at DO

The salary range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for any applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Groundswell, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role, and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is:
$85,070.00 - $161,159.00
