ASML develops advanced lithography systems that enable faster, more energy‑efficient microchips. These chips power smaller, smarter electronics used worldwide. As a Development Security Operations (DevSecOps) Engineer, you will help secure ASML’s technology by onboarding development teams to security and compliance tools and maintaining a robust tool landscape. Your work ensures that ASML products meet the highest security standards while supporting innovation at scale.
Role and responsibilitiesAs a Development Security Operations (DevSecOps) Engineer, you will collaborate with engineering teams and security specialists to implement and manage security tools across the development lifecycle.
Your key responsibilities include:
- Onboard new development teams to security and compliance tools.
- Automate and maintain the security tooling landscape for optimal performance.
- Take technical ownership of assigned tools and manage supplier relationships.
- Define the tooling roadmap with the team architect and identify new requirements.
- Support continuous improvement of security processes and practices.
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in software engineering or computer science.
- At least 3 years of experience in DevSecOps or security engineering roles.
- Hands‑on experience with security tools such as SCA, SAST, DAST, ASPM, and anti‑malware solutions.
- Knowledge of secure software development lifecycle (SDLC) principles.
- Proficiency in Python and experience with CI/CD automation.
- Familiarity with containerization technologies and implementing security strategies.

This position requires access to controlled technology, as defined in the United States Export Administration Regulations (15 C.F.R. § 730, et seq.). Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to access such controlled technology prior to beginning work.
