About the role:
In a Development Management role, your skills will be at the core of changing the way the world pays, banks and invests. You’ll plan and manage application development and client delivery activities that range from small and simple software applications, to components of large and complex software applications.

About the team:

Integrated Banking Services (IBS) is a hosted core processing system easily scalable to meet the needs of banks from $500M to $50B in assets. IBS is processed in a 'service bureau' environment using one version of the source code for all financial institutions.  It is a highly integrated system using a comprehensive set of bank processing parameters to define products and attributes. 

What you will be doing:

• Designs and develops software product applications for market sale or large-scale proprietary software applications for internal use.

• Manages full software development life cycle including development, testing, implementation, and audit.

• Manages critical issues and ensures applications meet appropriate quality standards.

• Manages compliance of applications with FIS policy.

• Applies Agile methods and processes to promote disciplined development process which encourages frequent inspection and adaptation of ongoing work.

• Manages work effort of others with responsibility for hiring, retaining, performance appraisals and pay reviews.

What you will need:

• Must have excellent written and communications skills (this is a must!).

• A bachelor’s in computer science or engineering, or the equivalent experience.

• Angular, Java, JavaScript, SAML, Restful API experience. (Hands on Experience)

• Experience with at least one major cloud (Azure or AWS preferred).

• Agile basics

Added Bonus if you have:

• Mainframe skills in COBOL and Assembler

• 5+ years of banking industry experience

• Project Management experience

• Agile experience

• Knowledge of FIS IBS Products and Services

• Knowledge of the Fintech Industry

FIS is committed to providing its employees with an exciting career opportunity and competitive compensation. The pay range for this full-time position is $105,070.00 - $176,520.00 and reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for this position based on the posted role, level, and location. Within the range, actual individual starting pay is determined additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Any changes in work location will also impact actual individual starting pay. Please consult with your recruiter about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process.
