Development Engineer 3:
At Comcast India Engineering Center (CIEC) we’re changing the way America views entertainment. Literally. If you love being on the cutting edge, we would love for you to be a part of changing Comcast’s history. We’re looking for a dedicated and passionate Development Engineer 3 to join our cloud networking team. If you have experience building scalable, cloud-based, web applications, are excited about impacting millions of users, look no further!
We practice Agile/Scrum methodology and we program in a variety of languages such as Python, C/C++, Java & GoLang. We are building a large-scale and high-performance cloud-based networking service platform that will deliver the next generation of Internet services across private and public networks.
As a Development Engineer 3, you will specialize in building high-performance, reliable end to end supply chain system workflows.

Job Description

Responsibilities:

• Design and develop o9 workflows in collaboration with business leads and internal technical teams.
• Monitor daily batch runs and troubleshoot production data issues.
• Troubleshoot front end UI based on findings from the business.
• Document, prioritize, and track to completion planner requirements (bugs, fixes, enhancements).
• Present architectural, design, and technical choices to internal and external audiences.
• Comfortable with collaboration, open communication and reaching across development, QA, Ops and other cross functional teams.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of work experience implementing solutions using SSIS, SQL, and Python
• 2-3 years programming experience with o9 or other similar planning tools (Kinaxis, Blue Yonder, E2Open, OMP)
• Prior experience working with Agile/Scrum methodologies
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Business Intelligence, Supply Chain or related field
