Leads Youth Guidance Kansas City’s fundraising strategy, donor and prospect portfolio, government relations, grants calendar, Advisory Council engagement, and community partnerships. Develops annual fundraising goals, cultivates individual, corporate, foundation, and public-sector support, oversees grant proposals and reporting, conducts prospect research, and partners with marketing on communications. The role also manages volunteers and collaborates across departments to expand resources and visibility for youth development programs.

Skills Required
- Bachelor’s degree
- At least 3 years of professional fundraising experience with a strong record of achievement in complex, mission-driven organizations
- Experience working in a collaborative development environment and leading initiatives from concept through execution
- Understanding of comprehensive fundraising programs, including individual, foundation, corporate, and special-event fundraising
- Experience working with volunteers to leverage fundraising efforts
- Experience using a fundraising CRM system to support moves management and fundraising strategy
- Superior written communication skills, including grant proposals, reports, briefs, fact sheets, and presentations
- Experience building relationships and collaborating across teams in a hybrid office environment
- Master’s degree
- Experience in youth development, human services, or K–12 education
- Experience engaging Kansas City-area funders and community-based organizations
- Salesforce experience
