A Brief Overview
The Development Associate provides high level project management, business analysis, proposal and administrative support while progressively building skills in donor cultivation and solicitation. The Development Associate will work collaboratively with Foundation staff, fundraising leadership, and key partners across the organization.
What you will do
- Provides project management support for development initiatives from planning through completion, including annual giving, campaigns, and special projects.
- Coordinates timelines, deliverables, and internal stakeholders for assigned projects; maintain project plans, trackers, and related documentation.
- Tracks project progress and prepare concise status updates, dashboards, and summaries for development leadership.
- Serves as a key liaison to Advancement Services on data and reporting needs for the Vice President and Foundation leadership.
- Assists with the development of funding proposals, including drafting and editing proposal narratives and supporting materials.
- Assists with planning and logistics for campaign related initiatives, donor and board meetings, and development team retreats.
- Provides advanced administrative support to the Vice President, Development, including complex calendar management, meeting scheduling, and logistics.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree Required
- Minimum 1 year experience Required
- At least 3 years experience in development support, project coordination, business analysis, or a related administrative or nonprofit role. Preferred
