About the position
The job of Java developer involves analysis, design, development/programming, as well as debugging complex web applications.
We are looking for several different Java profiles, i.e., both new employees who want to focus on application development and new employees who also have an interest in technology, tools, and methods.
We work with technologies such as Jenkins, Maven, Nexus, Ansible, Docker, Tomcat, Spring Boot, Struts, Gitlab, SonarQube, OWASP ZAP m.m.
You will be involved in debugging in relation to applications, integrations, and setup.
You will help conduct studies and tests of complex application programs and improve and optimize performance and efficiency.
If your interest, knowledge, and experience include technology, tools, etc. then we also can offer positions that focus on this part.
Our agile development is based on Scrum teams or SAFe framework. Here we use the most modern methods, technologies, tools, and forms of collaboration. We operate with continuous processes in DevOps setups with everything that goes with continuous learning and improvement and with the use of continuous automated testing, implementation, delivery, release on demand, etc.

Background
Relevant higher education corresponding to master's level and preferably a few years of work experience or experience from relevant student jobs.
It will be an advantage if you have theoretical and/or practical knowledge within some of these tools:
Design and development of Java applications in a Linux environment with extensive use of open-source components
Java frameworks
Web service design, XML, and implementation
REST API
Automated quality/testing tools
Jenkins, Maven, Nexus, Ansible, Docker, Git, Tomcat etc.
DevOps, Continuous integration, and Continuous Delivery
monitoring and logging
IT architecture and security
We provide thorough training in the systems and in the IT technical field. You will be assigned to a team of experienced colleagues who will help train you.
Team
DXC's team consists of a total of about 100 colleagues, all of whom are dedicated to delivering high quality on time. The team consists primarily of Business Analysts, Developers and Testers. Various other profiles are also included to help and support, e.g., IT architects and technicians.
Language
You speak and write Danish at a high level or mother tongue level and English/in writing at negotiation level.
