Key Responsibilities & Duties:
• Implement user stories and features on a cloud-native AWS stack.
• Write unit and integration tests and participate in code reviews.
• Fix defects and support continuous delivery.
• Use AI-assisted development tools across the SDLC and independently validate generated output.
• Collaborate with the team on design and refinement.
• Support secure coding and accessibility requirements.
• Contribute to CI/CD and automation.
• Identify technical issues and communicate risks or blockers early.
• Participate in requirements-gathering and story-refinement activities to align technical implementation with business needs.
• Create and maintain clear technical documentation as appropriate.
• Collaborate with project managers, product owners, architects, business analysts, and other stakeholders to meet project goals.
Required Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• 6+ years of software development experience.
• Experience with modern languages/frameworks and version control.
• Familiarity with cloud-native development on AWS and CI/CD concepts.
• Experience writing unit and integration tests and participating in code reviews.
• Experience troubleshooting defects and supporting continuous delivery.
• Understanding of secure coding practices and software quality principles.
• Ability and willingness to use approved AI-assisted development tools while independently reviewing and validating generated output.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and analytical skills.
• Ability to prioritize, self-start, and solve problems effectively.
• Consistent on-time attendance and reliability.
• Must be adaptable/flexible as priorities change.
• Availability during normal business hours and as needed after hours or weekends.
