About Your Role 

Our team is looking to add an experienced dev team lead to its roster. This leader will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of a full stack development team. Your work to guide the team on output, design decisions, quality, and engagement will power features and functionality for some of the nation's largest logistics companies. What You'll Do 

Leadership and Management Responsibilities 

  1. Team Leadership: Leading a team of developers, including hiring, training, and mentoring team members. This involves setting clear expectations, providing regular feedback, and fostering a collaborative team environment.
  2. Project Management: Overseeing the planning, execution, and delivery of software development projects. This includes task assignment, scheduling, and ensuring that projects are completed on time and within budget.
  3. Stakeholder Communication: Serving as a key point of contact for stakeholders, including product, management, and other departments. This involves communicating project status, negotiating requirements, and ensuring that the final product meets stakeholder needs. 

Technical Responsibilities 

  1. Since you will be overseeing the code output of a full stack team the following list are technologies and skills that are beneficial to the success of the role.  
    1. Full Stack Development: Proficiency in both front-end and back-end development. Familiarity with front-end technologies like HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and frameworks such as Angular, as well as back-end languages and frameworks like .NET, .NET core.
    2. Database Management: Experience with database technologies, including relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL), and the ability to design, query, and manage data effectively.
    3. DevOps and Cloud Services: Understanding of DevOps practices, including continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD), and experience with cloud services (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) for hosting and managing applications.  

What You'll Bring 

  • 5 years minimum working in a B2B SaaS environment.  
  • 3 years minimum working with C#/.NET Core; experience with Angular is a bonus. 
  • Willingness to embrace a remote working environment and asynchronous, document driven communication.  
  • Advanced understanding of software development methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum). 
  • A desire to use data to drive your decisions.  
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. 
  • Autonomy and an ownership mindset – we’ll help you, but we want you to help us too.  
  • Proficiency in English in both written and verbal communication skills. 
  • Willingness to use dark mode for everything, or you’ll be subject to much ridicule. 
  • Strong Technical Skills: In addition to expertise in full-stack development, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to architect scalable and efficient software solutions. 
  • Leadership Qualities: Strong interpersonal and communication skills, the ability to motivate and lead a team, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. 
  • Project Management Experience: Familiarity with project management tools (e.g., Jira, Trello) and methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum).

  • We work sane, sustainable, and flexible working hours.  Our Core Hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 - 5:00 pm CST.
