The Role

We are hiring a Developer Productivity & Engineering Analytics Engineer — a unique role combining hands-on software development with strategic analysis of engineering performance. You will work at the intersection of data, tooling, and organisational transformation, helping us unlock the full potential of our development teams.

This is not just a coding role — it’s an opportunity to solve thorny productivity problems, analyse trends using real-world metrics like JIRA and Blue Optima, and influence how we evolve as a high-performing engineering organisation.

What You’ll Do

· Build dashboards and tools in Streamlit, Snowflake, and Python to measure and improve developer performance.

· Design and implement metrics frameworks using JIRA, Blue Optima, Git data, and more.

· Analyse engineering workflows to identify blockers, inefficiencies, and high-impact opportunities.

· Collaborate closely with Engineering, Product, and Ops to deliver insights and drive behavioural change.

· Make actionable recommendations to improve time-to-value, flow efficiency, and reduce engineering drag.

· Develop and contribute to internal GenAI tools that help managers identify and address productivity bottlenecks.

· Support reporting to senior leadership on developer productivity, workforce transformation, and team effectiveness.

What We’re Looking For

· Proven experience in Python and modern data tooling (e.g., Pandas, SQL, Streamlit).

· Familiarity with Snowflake, including SQL querying and schema design.

· Strong analytical mindset — able to interpret messy operational data and translate it into meaningful insight.

· Experience working with or analysing JIRA, GitHub, or similar systems to measure developer productivity.

· Comfortable exploring ambiguous organisational problems and driving data-led solutions.

· Excellent communication skills — able to speak the language of engineers, analysts, and leadership alike.

Nice to Have

· Familiarity with productivity measurement tools like Blue Optima, DORA metrics, or SPACE framework.

· Experience working on engineering operations, transformation, or DevEx initiatives.

· Exposure to AI/LLM tooling (e.g., prompt design, generative analytics in Snowflake Cortex or similar).

Why Join Us?

· Shape the future of how we understand and improve software development at scale.

· Work with top-tier data infrastructure (Snowflake) and modern analytics platforms.

· Direct access to senior stakeholders who care about engineering productivity.

· Opportunity to own high-impact initiatives that transform how teams work.

· Be part of a company that believes in autonomy, innovation, and operational excellence.
