Description

Commit AI is looking for a skilled and passionate GitHub Copilot & GitHub Trainer to lead enablement, onboarding, and adoption programs for our leading R&D teams.

Significant advantage for candidates with proven experience delivering GitHub Copilot enablement and training programs in enterprise environments.

You will work closely with software engineering groups to help them fully unlock the value of GitHub tools, including GitHub Copilot, GitHub Enterprise, and platform automation capabilities. This role blends technical expertise with a people-first mindset, enabling hands-on knowledge transfer and continuous productivity improvement.

If you have experience optimizing R&D workflows, leading developer training, or working in high-scale engineering organizations—this role is for you.

Key Responsibilities-

·       Deliver hands-on training sessions, workshops, and technical onboarding for GitHub Copilot and GitHub Enterprise.

·       Guide R&D teams in best practices for prompt engineering, automation workflows, and maximizing Copilot’s impact on the SDLC.

·       Customize training materials based on audience technical level, team maturity, and engineering domain.

·       Serve as a GitHub subject-matter expert and trusted advisor to engineering managers, tech leads, and developers.

·       Monitor adoption, gather feedback, and continuously refine training programs based on user needs.

·       Partner with internal and external stakeholders to identify engineering bottlenecks and propose GenAI-powered productivity improvements.

·       Stay updated on GitHub platform updates and the latest trends in AI-powered development tools.


Requirements

·       Experience delivering GitHub Copilot training, workshops or Copilot onboarding at the organizational level.

·       2+ years of hands-on experience with GitHub, GitHub Copilot, or similar development platforms.

·       Strong technical background in software engineering, DevOps, or developer productivity.

·       Experience designing and delivering workshops, technical training, or enablement programs.

·       Ability to communicate complex technical concepts in a clear, practical, and engaging way.

·       Highly collaborative, proactive, and empathetic in working with developers and team leads.

 Preferred / Advantageous Skills-

·       Experience in R&D training, productivity optimization, SDLC diagnostics, or GenAI integration.

·       Familiarity with GitHub Enterprise features (Actions, Codespaces, Policies, etc.).

·       Experience working with or for large-scale R&D organizations or in consultancy roles.

·       Knowledge of prompt engineering, AI-assisted coding tools, and LLM adoption strategies.
