Job Summary:
We are looking for a Junior Developer to join our AML-MLS team and contribute to the development and support of AML solutions using Tookitaki, Hadoop, and Big Data technologies. The ideal candidate should have experience in Hadoop ecosystems, Unix shell scripting, SQL, and JBoss, with a strong understanding of big data processing. Knowledge of AML functional concepts and machine learning is a plus.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, enhance, and maintain AML applications using Hadoop (BigData, HDFS, HIVE) and other relevant technologies.

• Work on Unix Shell Scripting to automate data processing and system operations.

• Develop and optimize SQL queries on MariaDB / OracleDB for data extraction, transformation, and reporting.

• Deploy, configure, and troubleshoot JBoss application servers.

• Collaborate with data analysts and compliance teams to understand AML rules and data processing needs.

• Support and troubleshoot production issues, ensuring system availability and performance.

• Participate in code reviews, system testing, and deployment processes.

• Document technical solutions, workflows, and troubleshooting guidelines.

Must-Have Skills:

• Hands-on experience with Hadoop (BigData, HDFS, HIVE).

• Strong knowledge of Unix Shell Scripting (ksh, perl, etc.).

• Experience in JBoss application server management.

• Proficiency in SQL (MariaDB or OracleDB) (not DBA skills).

• Good-to-Have Skills:

• Experience with AML Functional & Machine Learning concepts.

• Knowledge of Python and PL/SQL for data processing and scripting.

• Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

• Experience working in a Big Data or AML compliance environment.

• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
