  • Participate in the creation of training material, helping teams embrace a culture of DevOps with self-healing and self-service ecosystems. This includes discovery, testing and integration of third party solutions in product roadmaps.

  • Build internal-facing tools that demonstrate performance and operational effectiveness to improve training, adoption and understanding of common Software Development and DevOps challenges.

  • Drive the team forward by helping refine and plan out tasks and epics during regular sprint planning.

  • Expose the team and wider application teams to new tools and technologies when possible and to drive PoCs with third party vendors during the vendor selection process.

  •  4+ years of experience in cloud-based systems, working in DevOps, IT, Networking or Software Engineering positions.

  • A passion for well architectured software and good understanding of software development practices specifically around reliability, availability and performance engineering.

  • Working knowledge of networking, operating systems and packaging/build systems, databases and production-grade telemetry systems such as Sentry, Datadog, Prometheus, Grafana, Loki, Tempo and Mimir.

  • Ability and knowledge of using AI coding tools such as Copilot and competency in pair-programming, skills and agentic pipeline design using these types of tools.

  • Strong working knowledge of deploying services with advanced Networking, IAM Role-based access, Kubernetes preferably in a major cloud provider such as AWS, Azure or GCP.

  • Ability to prototype initiatives using shell scripting and third party tools and specifically with Python and Golang.

  • Experience in Agile methodologies and scrum-mastering where the candidate can manage multiple projects and features for internal projects and across different teams within Numerator and raise technical issues proactively within the organization.

  • Ability to quickly learn and deploy Kubernetes based applications and third party services in AWS Cloud using a variety of tools including Terraform and Ansible.

  • Mentor and provide support of tools and solutions to product teams looking for infrastructure solutions.

  • Capacity to quickly create clear and concise documentation and build out solutions for technical and non-technical audiences including fellow team members, end-users and developers.
