We’re looking for an experienced Destination Services Manager to represent Mugwump Productions onsite at a prestigious resort property in Ponte Vedra Beach, FL. This individual will serve as the key liaison between resort guests, property partners, and our internal production team to ensure flawless event execution.
As the Destination Services Manager, you will be responsible for cultivating client relationships, managing destination/event requests, and overseeing execution of décor, entertainment, transportation, and activity programs for groups hosted at the property. This is a client-facing role requiring strong communication, polished professionalism, and deep knowledge of destination management services.
Role Overview: 
  • Serve as the onsite Mugwump representative at the resort, partnering closely with property staff, sales, and catering teams.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for corporate and social group clients staying/meeting at the property.
  • Develop customized destination/event proposals including décor, entertainment, activities, tours, and transportation solutions.
  • Manage full program lifecycle: inquiry proposal contract execution post-event follow-up.
  • Oversee event logistics and coordinate with Mugwump’s operations/production team to ensure seamless delivery.
  • Maintain strong knowledge of local vendors, attractions, and experiences to enhance guest programs.
  • Provide onsite support during events, ensuring all elements are executed to Mugwump and property standards.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with resort staff to promote Mugwump services to incoming groups.
  • Track program budgets, invoices, and profitability.
  • Identify opportunities for upselling and repeat group business.

Qualifications:
  • 2+ years’ experience in destination management, event planning, or hospitality (DMC, resort, or luxury property preferred).
  • Degree in Hospitality, Event Management, or related field, preferred but not required. 
  • Strong knowledge of corporate meetings, incentive travel, and social events.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and client service skills.
  • Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple programs simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
  • Professional appearance and ability to represent Mugwump at a luxury property level.
  • Flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and on-call availability during events.
  • Familiarity with Ponte Vedra/Jacksonville area vendors, venues, and activities a plus.
