Guerrilla Girls is seeking a dependable and solutions-oriented Desktop Support Specialist to provide day-to-day technical assistance to our team. This position is responsible for helping employees resolve computer, software, hardware, and connectivity issues while ensuring they have the tools and support needed to work effectively.

Responsibilities
Provide first-level technical support for hardware, software, and connectivity issues.
Troubleshoot desktops, laptops, printers, peripherals, and common software problems.
Install, configure, update, and maintain computers and workplace technology.
Assist with user accounts, passwords, permissions, and basic system access.
Respond to support requests through email, phone, chat, or ticketing systems.
Document technical issues, troubleshooting steps, and resolutions.
Escalate complex technical problems when additional support is required.
Assist with employee onboarding, workstation setup, and equipment deployment.
Help maintain an organized inventory of IT equipment and accessories.
Follow established IT security and data-protection procedures.
Provide friendly, professional support to employees with different levels of technical experience.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Previous desktop support, help desk, technical support, or customer service experience is a plus.
Basic knowledge of Windows, macOS, Microsoft 365, or similar workplace technologies.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
Good written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to learn new technologies and systems quickly.
Reliable, organized, and detail-oriented.
Able to work independently while collaborating effectively with a team.
