Redis is looking for a Desktop Administrator. This is an opportunity to grow your career as the company grows. We have been given the hardware, software, and opportunity to chart a new course in how the company uses technology, and your contribution will ensure the success of everyone at Redis. This is your chance to help build the solutions and processes to streamline how technology is delivered. This hybrid role is a mix of work from home and onsite support in our San Francisco, CA (company paid parking) and San Jose, CA offices. We do all this while learning together, having fun, and working alongside smart people.
What you’ll do:
- Support a growing end-user environment of 900+ laptops (75% Apple macOS, 20% Microsoft Windows, and 5% Linux)
- Provide onsite (San Francisco, CA and San Jose, CA) and remote tier 1/2 system support for corporate users
- Assist EU/UK, Israel, and APAC users as needed
- Conduct routine patching and security assessments to ensure a secure computing environment
- Manage maintenance and recurring tasks such as fulfilling audit requests, account reviews, and help desk metrics
- Perform maintenance of onsite hardware and systems such as printers and AV equipment in local Redis offices
- Update processes and procedures to ensure compliance with audit and customer requirements.
What you will need to have:
- 3+ years experience managing Apple devices in an enterprise environment
- 3+ years experience managing Microsoft Windows devices
- 2+ years experience administering Google Workspace/G Suite.
- 2+ years experience administering collaboration tools, such as Slack and Zoom
- Understanding of endpoint security solutions such as Crowdstrike Falcon
- Hands on experience administering Zoom Rooms and AV systems
- Knowledge of core network hardware and concepts (switches, routers, wireless, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP)
- Ability to troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve end-user issues in a timely manner
- Outgoing and collaborative personality
Extra great if you have:
- Worked with popular cloud platforms such as Atlassian Jira/Confluence, Microsoft Office 365, Okta
- Knowledge of mobile device management (MDM) platforms such as Kandji and Microsoft Intune
- Able to travel within the United States as needed
- Interest in geeky side projects

The estimated gross base annual salary range for this role is $102,532 – $123,600 per year in New York, California, Washington, Colorado, and Rhode Island. Actual compensation may vary and is dependent on various factors, including a candidate’s work location, qualifications, experience, and competencies. Base annual salary is one component of Redis’ total compensation and competitive benefits package, which may include 401(k), unlimited time off, learning and development opportunities, and comprehensive health and wellness benefits. This role may include discretionary bonuses, stock options, commuter benefits based on location, or a commission plan. Salary history is not used in compensation package decisions. Redis utilizes market pay data to determine compensation, so posted compensation ranges are subject to change as new market data becomes available.
