Job Description/ResponsibilitiesWe’re looking for a detail-obsessed Technical Designer – Production Artist who thrives at the intersection of design and precision. This role is ideal for someone who not only cares about how things look - but how they’re built, prepped, and perfectly executed in production.

What You’ll Do:
- Prepare print-ready artwork for packaging, POS, and related materials.
- Build and finalize files including dielines, separations, finishes, and production layers.
- Ensure all deliverables meet printer/vendor specifications and production standards.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
- Partner with designers, account teams, and external vendors to ensure seamless execution.
- Conduct detailed preflight checks and troubleshoot technical issues.
- Support and attend press checks to ensure quality and accuracy.
- Maintain organized file structures, naming conventions, and version control
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in graphic design, visual communication, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience)
- 3–5 years of experience in a technical design or production artist role
- Advanced proficiency in adobe creative suite (illustrator, photoshop, InDesign)
- Strong understanding of print production, prepress workflows, and color management and experience producing packaging and/or pos materials
- Ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines with exceptional attention to detail
- Portfolio or work samples required demonstrating technical execution, print-ready files, and packaging/pos experience
Preferred:
- Experience in consumer packaged goods (CPG) or spirits industry.
- Familiarity working alongside legal and regulatory teams, including applying government and compliance mandatories to packaging and label design.
- Experience attending or supporting press checks.

The annual salary range for this role is $71,000 - $106,000. Final compensation will be based on relevant experience, qualifications, geographic location, and internal pay equity considerations.
