Reports to: Sr. Manager, Product - Outdoor Lifestyle
Location: California (Remote)
The Role
As a Designer I for Teva Footwear, you will be instrumental in shaping the future of our Outdoor Lifestyle products for both men and women. You will work closely with the Senior Product Manager and cross-functional teams to design products that align with our brand's creative direction. Your role will involve developing concepts, sketches, and product ideation, choosing materials, and creating artwork for new designs. You will also contribute to seasonal inspiration planning and collaborate with internal and external partners to ensure the successful execution of projects.

Your Impact
- Design products that meet category and overall brand creative direction.
- Develop concepts, sketches, and product ideation for assigned categories against product briefs within established deadlines.
- Work closely with the manager, product, and development teams to choose materials and design products within specific pricing goals.
- Create artwork for new designs to evaluate styling, color, and design combinations.
- Create cover sketches and technical details for the development team to expedite tech/spec packages.
- Collaborate with design and product leaders in the Outdoor Lifestyle BU on assigned projects.
- Contribute to seasonal inspiration planning and participate in seasonal kickoff with BU.
- Collaborate with product and product development team members.
- Schedule meetings with internal teams and external partners, providing agendas, relevant samples, and additional materials.
- Demonstrate knowledge of current consumer and market trends and interpret those trends into commercial products.
- Collaborate with the product and development coordinator to coordinate access, ordering, and delivery of samples.
- Manage team samples for easy access to reference and confidentiality.
- Participate in all product travel inspiration trips and 1-2 Asia trips per year.
Who You Are
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
- 2+ years’ experience in footwear design.
- General understanding of construction and process, improving under the guidance of a mentor.
- Proficient in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and learning Keyshot, Keynote, and 3D software.

$85,000 - $90,000
The salary range posted reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for this role in Goleta, CA. Individual pay will be determined by location and additional factors, including job related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
