Who We’re Looking For:

Essential to the Customer Experience team, we are looking for a Senior UX / UI Designer who will work closely with our products to further the automation of product creation. Responsible for leading our design vision, strategy and execution for our various products. You’ll help us build a more innovative way for us to help entrepreneurs connect with designers and manufacturers to bring their product ideas to life in an easy streamlined fashion. You are motivated by having your product vision and design directly impact the lives of real people. You are passionate about enhancing the experience of entrepreneurs and experts, solving interesting challenges, and designing new solutions. Our UX Designers are responsible for designing the interaction and visuals of the products. With a craft for details, they create the architecture, user flows, navigation models, user interfaces, and micro-interactions that shape how people interact with products, and bring these to life in the final product. Working closely with Product Managers, Engineers, Industrial Designers, Supply Operations and other stakeholders, you will plan, prioritize, and deliver design activities autonomously with a sense of ownership for the product.

 

Your Day-to-Day

  • Bridge the gap between research insights and tangible concepts
  • Make sense of complex systems or large volumes of data and content and represent them in simplified models
  • Refine concepts into meaningful narratives that speak to business opportunities and technical feasibility
  • Hands on delivery of concepts, personas, user journeys, storyboards, system maps, user flows, wireframes, visual design comps, and prototypes
  • Communicate the product’s vision and articulate design decisions and trade-offs, both verbally and visually
  • Collaborate fluidly with other designers, developers, and product managers
  • Effectively manage both short and long-term priorities across multiple complex projects

Your Skills & Accomplishments

  • 5-7 years of product design experience ,helping build and launch products at startups
  • Strong knowledge and experience with driving and applying user-centered design processes 
  • Organized, self-directed, efficient and able to manage multiple and complex projects in a timely manner
  • Working knowledge of common design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, Sketch, InVision, Zeplin, etc.
  • Ability to work in a cross-functional and collaborative role spanning several teams such as product, engineering, and design
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills to lead, influence and align vision with cross-functional teams
