Job Description

- Independently leading and driving several large-scale design projects
- Planning and managing design projects that align to overall product strategy
- Integrating the work of fellow designers into your own to create a seamless global experience
- Continually communicating and collaborating with cross-department stakeholders
- Delivering thoughtful, empathetic, and detailed design work that is:
- Grounded in solid research and validation
- Polished with little need for cleanup
- Easily used by engineering to build a great experience
- Pushing the envelope to achieve game-changing results and exceptional outcomes
- Being a valued leader and mentor to less experienced designers and team members
- Establishing best practice methods for the general team
- Build a team over the next two years to fully realize our vision
Qualifications
To be successful in this role you have:
- An inspiring portfolio showing us how you have researched and crafted great experiences, seeing them through to released product
- A clear systems-thinking and empathetic approach knowing how everyone and everything fits within the system to make informed decisions
- Experience working in complex, technical environments
- Have Human Resource experience
- Ability to understand and distill complex problems into elegant, intuitive solutions
- Ability to promote and champion your design and strategy solutions based on reason, research, and data
- Strong written and verbal English communication skills
- Excellent teamwork, communication, and problem-solving skills to effectively work with multi-functional and multi-disciplined teams
- Obsessed with the relentless pursuit of UX perfection working inside an iterative and agile development environment
- Self-starter who can work with minimal supervision in a fluid, fast-paced, and agile environment
- High level of initiative, good sense of humor, and a "make it work" ethos
