What You Will Do:

  • Ensure projects are being created and built with the audience at the center, as the usability subject matter expert
  • Support training of more junior UX team members and non-UX roles, as necessary for their role
  • Own key deliverables that support client conversations and understanding of the solutions, defining KPIs, developing appropriate content based on UI and architecture, supporting digital style guides and ADA compliant UI comps, functionality requirements and key measurement requirements
  • Use knowledge of design principals, UX standards, usability best practices and understanding of technology frameworks to guide digital solution frameworks, experience design, content strategy and UI requirements
  • Take responsibility for UX deliverables and organize appropriate quality control checks
  • Collaborate with Digital leadership in improving process and work quality for the UX function
  • Understand and work within project parameters: client goals and requirements, internal goals, usability, technical constraints, as well as budget and schedule; Interact with internal groups and manage deadlines
  • Lead client conversations around UX solutions, clearly explaining rational and recommendations
  • Collaborate with the creative design team in development of UI Style Guides and interaction design requirements
  • Collaborate with creative brand team in capturing a digital solution’s look and feel, ensuring the emotional impact is supported by usability best practices
  • Support the build of user testing plans with digital producers and provide UX optimization recommendations based on results
  • Responsible for ongoing personal training to stay relevant within industry trends
  • Experiment with new tools and techniques to improve our work
  • Work with in-house art department/studio as well as outside suppliers as needed
  • Present UX content, theories and principals to both external and internal teams, with authority

Your Application:

About You:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in advertising, marketing, graphic arts or equivalent area of study.
  • Minimum 2-4 years of UX-focused experience
  • Additional 5-7 years of design or content creation experience
  • A proven track record managing all aspects of UX deliverables
  • Able to juggle multiple responsibilities under tight deadlines
  • A master of details
  • Excellent UX/UI design experience for Web applications (traditional browser and .mobi). Experience with Responsive Design techniques and CSS Preprocessors (LESS, SASS) and Libraries (Bootstrap) in depth knowledge of current and emerging Web technologies with a focus on user interface
  • Experience building and implementing user testing processes
  • Able to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Able to pitch in and stay late when needed
  • Logical grasp of both B2C and B2B marketing
  • Strong working examples of UX solutions you can talk through and are genuinely proud of
  • Expert proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, Acrobat), and digital tools such as Sketch, InVision and Zeplin. Good experience with MS Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
  • Experience with (and understanding of) the print, video, and digital production process
  • The ability to own projects and supervise activities and production as necessary
