The Opportunity
The Insights and Analytics Product teams at Pluralsight are focused on providing insightful, action-focused analytics experiences to our customers. Technical leaders at the organizations we serve are looking for intuitive, accessible, and adaptable products that meet them where they make decisions. In order for data insights to reach customers effectively and provide intended customer value we need elite UX design and analytics visualizations driven by customer feedback and testing.
We are looking for a results-oriented Senior Product Designer to join our team and implement a process to learn from our users and define the information architecture, interaction design, and visual design of our experiences. You will work side by side with the Product Manager and other team members to determine and execute the Insights and Analytics product strategy. Success will be measured by your ability to deliver experiences with customer value.

What You'll Own

• Discovering customer needs and balancing those with business objectives
• Preparing for and conducting user research along with the product manager
• Collaborating with the team to determine an appropriate solution based on research
• Creating concepts, wireframes, designs, and prototypes for testing, experimentation and development
• Defining the information architecture, the interactions, and the visual design
• Defining an iterative process of design through product releases
• Helping the team reflect and improve on how they work

Experience You'll Need

• 6+ years of user experience design and visual design for software or other complex GUI experiences
• A strong understanding of user research and human-centered design
• An analytical approach to testing new features
• Strong communication skills
• Proven ability to speak on a technical level and communicate clearly with developers and engineers
• Strong interest in the learning, and in improving how consumers consume and interact with content
• Experience with analytics visualization and design or analytics product development
