Skillsoft seeks a Six Sigma Senior Learning Strategist to ensure our Six Sigma certification curriculum remains top tier. This role includes creating and curating compelling learning tracks while applying adult learning theory best practices. As the Six Sigma Senior Learning Strategist, you'll work with an industry-leading team of learning and development experts in a strategic environment.
About the Role
- The Six Sigma Senior Learning Strategist will lead curriculum design and curation for Skillsoft's Six Sigma certification training.
- Continually cultivate expert knowledge of Six Sigma topics and industry trends across all certification levels.
- Apply advanced learning and development techniques in all aspects of the curriculum, including course design, outlines, scripts, assessments, and activities.
- Create engaging course content that improves knowledge and skills.
- Write effective Learning and Performance Objectives, practice activities, and assessment strategies.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts to conduct instructional research and identify the target audience's training needs.
- Provide feedback on course planning, scripting documents, job aids, and materials.
- Project Manage the creation/modification of curriculum and complete all deliverables on time and in scope.
- Evaluate project risks, develop contingency plans, and remain agile throughout project execution.
- Demonstrate excellent judgment in issues that impact client relationships in partnership with client service teams.
- Effectively partner with internal and external stakeholders and collaborators.
Desired Qualifications
- Extensive experience creating and curating compelling six sigma learning content, familiarity with six sigma credentialing and certification process, and ASQ (American Society for Quality) compliance
- Graduate degree or certificate in a related L&D field or equivalent education, training, or equivalent experience
- Advanced knowledge and practical application of adult learning and development theories
- Ability to write comprehensive course storyboards that contain items such as audio scripts, assessments, reflective prompts, job aids, practice activities, and other supporting materials
- Effective communication, relationship, and project management abilities
- A sense of ownership of responsibilities, excellent judgment, and a commitment to accomplishing work in an ethical, efficient, and cost-effective manner
- Ability to be decisive in an ambiguous environment
- Knowledge of the online learning competitive landscape
- Familiarity with LMS or LCMS platforms, and preferably the integration of learning content with LMS platforms
- Excellent customer service experience
- A desire to work in a remote-first environment
Target base salary range for this job requisition is anticipated to be $82,000 to $110,000 annualized.
We also offer participation in the Company Bonus Program and full benefits. The company may modify salaries, salary ranges and/or pay plans from time to time as it deems necessary.
