GDIT is looking for a Graphic Designer who can design and develop graphics and illustrations for use in technical publications, marketing material, and other visual communications media.

The position will support a US Air Force program that is playing a major role in strengthening and modernizing America's Strategic Deterrent Force. GDIT will develop and deliver a digital engineering design solution which enables and integrates the program's complete set of data, tools, and model-based systems engineering (MBSE) activities, and makes them available to internal and appropriate external engineering and programmatic stakeholders throughout the program's lifecycle. This effort will culminate in an abstracted, highly transportable environment delivered to the Government, to be instantiated "virtually" on the Government's network infrastructure, and updated during the Engineering and Manufacturing Development (EMD) phase of weapon system development.

Duties include but are not limited to:

  • Works with a team of ISD experts to design and develop instructional approaches and/or strategies to meet training requirements.
  • Conducts analysis of training requirements and media requirements.
  • Designs and develops computer based training, web-based training, electronic performance support systems, and other technology-based learning solutions.
  • Develops flow diagrams and storyboards.
  • Designs and develops multimedia course-ware on a variety of delivery platforms.
  • Works closely with Lead ISD, multimedia specialists, programmers, and other program experts.
  • Maintains current knowledge of relevant technology as assigned.


EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

Bachelor's Degree (or equivalent), 5+ years of experience

Preferred qualifications:

  • Understands designing and developing USAF technical curriculum at all levels of interactivity.
  • Familiar with online instructor-tutored and Artificial Intelligence (AI) proctored training


DESIRED SKILLS

  • Understanding of eLearning
  • Ability to create, develop, manipulate, and share learning content using a variety of creative technology solutions.
  • Ability to develop graphics, videos, and virtual training sessions.
  • Experience using eLearning technologies and software to create visual design tools and applications.
